Parent Support Groups

The focus of our parent support groups are for parents (and caregivers) of a child with an intellectual disability. It’s an opportunity for parents who have children of all ages and stages to come together and share their stories and experiences – no matter where their child may be living (in the family home, in a home of their own or in a community residence) and whether they are in school, have a job, volunteering or are supported by a residential or day program. There will be time for informal sharing and connecting, mixed with opportunities to learn about resources and information on topics that are of interest to the group. As always, there will be refreshments to enjoy during the meetings.

A daytime group that meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 10:00am to noon at 120 Maryland Street in the main floor boardroom.
