Senior Parent to Parent is a support group for parents with a son or daughter or sibling with a disability.
In many cases a child with a disability will live their entire lives in the care of their family. Adults who have an intellectual disability often outlive their parents. This leaves the aging parent asking “What will happen to my child when I'm gone?” It’s the hardest question many people will have to face.
Senior Parent to Parent provides the opportunity to support each other with advice, comfort and fellowship. We meet to discuss common issues related to having a family member with a disability and take comfort in the fact that we are not alone. Join us for coffee, shared stories, and speakers.
This group is well established and is open to older parents and sibling caregivers and provides the opportunity to support each other with information, advice, comfort and fellowship. The group meets once per month to discuss common issues related to having a family member with a disability. Join them for coffee, shared stories and speakers on topics of interest.
